Celebrating the Grape Harvest
Tucked away in the spectacular Scenic Rim, the Canungra Valley Wineries will present a weekend of pure indulgence with an array of local wines, gourmet food and some great entertainment.
The Canungra Valley Wineries present the Canungra Creek Festival from Friday 27 March to Sunday 29 March. The festival will celebrate the grape harvest this year by kicking off with a Degustation Dinner on Friday 27 March at the Canngra Hotel. Matching each course with locally crafted wine, local renowned Chef Dean will present a sumptuous five‐course dinner. Guest speakers will also offer a new insight to the emerging Canungra wines.
Albert River Wines will be holding an Australiana Saturday afternoon session with billy tea, damper and whip cracking demonstrations.
Sarabah Estate will present a Harvest Feast on the Sunday, which will include a spit roast BBQ buffet with live entertainment from 12 – 4 pm.
Canungra Valley Vineyard will hold a Homestead Breakfast and High Tea Tournaments morning including Croquet, Badminton, Quoits, and competitions for best Hat of the day.
Mt Nathan winery will be hosting a wine and cheese afternoon on the Saturday.
