Living Landscapes Forum

The Living Landscapes Forum took place in Boonah on 10 to 12 September.
The forum was hosted by The Regional Landscape and Open Space Advisory Committee and was presented by the State Government Department of Infrastructure and Planning and Council of Mayors. The Boonah Organisation for a Sustainable Shire (BOSS) did a marvellous job co-ordinating the event and showcasing regional businesses and features.
Several BSSB participants attended the forum and were interested to better understand government and academic thinking about issues such as regional open space, peak oil, regional planning and climate change. The forum was an opportunity for Government, business and community representatives to come together and focus on creating a sustainable future for the Regional Landscape and Rural Production areas of South-East Queensland.

Feedback from the forum is being provided to the current review of the SEQ Regional Plan.
