On 2-3 August (9 am Saturday to 3.30 pm Sunday) the Wild Mountains Trust are holding a workshop titled  - Transition to Resilience - planning for energy descent in our community.

Janet Millington and Sonya Wallace, founders of the Sunshine Coast Relocalisation group and presenters at the recent Going Local Convergence in Brisbane, will be facilitating this weekend. The intent of the workshop is to come up with a framework for our local communities to "descend the energy mountain gracefully and ethically".
This is NOT a 'portfolio' workshop, to slip into the accumulating pile of events attended. We need a start on an action plan for all aspects of our communities and this could well be the opportunity. Are you up for it?  (Note: accommodation in camping cabins, modern showers and toilets, great food. You bring WARM sleeping gear, personal stuff)
